Astley Village Improvements – Chorley

Friday, July 1st, 2011

Finally, artwork created to improve the environment in Astley Village goes in.  These include a 3.5 metre oak totem pole depicting the life cycle of frogs and a ‘fern’  inspired bench.  Designed by Scartworks these elements are an integral part of a larger scheme to improve pathways, ponds and open areas around the estate.  The consultation work for these elements was undertaken with pupils from the local primary school.
